Things your spouse has said that made you feel better about yourself

Let's see, my husband tells me stuff all the time but I think the best thing is when he says I look beautiful even when I'm not wearing makeup and I'm wearing sweats.

My husband is wonderful to me. I'm a stay at home mom, besides that I take care of both my mom and his. I don't keep the house clean, which makes me feel bad, but he always tells me that he doesn't care and that I do enough, as long as I take care of him, our children (we have 4 between us)and our mothers he doesn't care if the house is clean, his only request is that he always has clean clothes, which I gladly do for him. He has these moments where he just starts cleaning, and when he does, I just step aside and let him, because that's what he wants, and we work together sometimes to clean too. He always tells me that when I get up in the morning all I need to do is run a brush through my hair and I'm perfect...I don't agree, I prefer to take a shower every day and do my hair and make up, drives him crazy that I do, however I love to hear the wonderful things he says to and about me.

I have had boyfriends in the past say things. Of course now it seems like they didn't really mean it but some of the things were you're so beautiful. That always makes me feel good. Or just when they tell you they love you so much. I've had many tell me they want to spend the rest of their lives with me. That didn't work out, and I'm young but it still made me feel good at the time.

My husband always says that "I only have to impress one person, and I do a great job at it!" He also says that "My figure isn't bad for my age & as the mother of his three children" He makes me feel good about myself! He has done for the last 15 years!

My husband is a very silent person and rarely speaks about everything but he jokes everytime he is around me.. i love i when he says my hair smells good and hugs me tightly...thats when i feel very much loved..sigh.

Right after I gave birth to our son..It was a very painful labor and he said he was so proud of me,and how much he loves me and how brave I was...the way he said,with tears in his eyes,made me fell like a real woman for the first time!I felt great.

The other night we had some friends over and I asked my partner what his first impressions of me were. At first he didn't answer because of our visitors, but I asked him again later and this is what he said, "the night that we got together, I was very nervous because I didn't think that somebody as attractive as you would be interested in someone like me". It just made my heart melt.

Before we got married, we were already planning for our wedding when my husband still proposed to me; we dine out in a hotel and afterwards on his knees offered me an engagement ring.

My husband always tells me how pretty I am and if I haven't done anything around the house he tells me that I have done enough already. He always lets me know that I am wanted and that I am just fine. I tend to feel bad at times about not doing things and he tells me I am fine. I have never had anyone that told me everything is fine. When he tells me I believe it.
