it can be other way round also.....if not cleared properly silence can result in bringing people poles apart.........

Yes there are times when a little silence between a couple can be comforting. For example, something has happened to make a person very sad and so after a few words they just want to hold/touch each other and without words they can offer comfort. However, silence between a couple who are in dispute over something is not always good. It could be that one of them wants to talk but the other doesn't and so the problem can get bigger and worse. Therefore it all depends on what is the cause of the silence.

Yes surely after a long talk some people just feel the need to take a pause and stop of talking. It is such a recomfortant moment i love it when people just stop talking look each other in the eyes. Good luck!
