At what age should teenagers leave home?

there's no particular age on when one should leave home. for as long as she/he is already responsible enough to live on his/her own and if he/she can already take care of himself/herself, then, it is one great time for that person to start on their own if they want to.

I got married when I was 18, and I moved from my parents house. Then we moved back when I was 20 and we just got our new apartment. It was difficult living under my parents house with my husband. They put him under a microscope when we lived there.

Unless they are going to college and need to save money wherever possible, there should be no reason for anyone over the age of 18 to live at home. Parents should have taught them all they need to know to live on their own by then.

I think it totally depends on the teenager. Some are very much ready at 18 to leave home, and others are not. I've seen some very immature 18 year olds that make terrible mistakes when they get to college because they were not prepared to live on their own! But then I've seen others who do fantastic. I'll have to deal with letting my dd go to college in less than 1 1/2 years and I just can't imagine it....

I think most teenagers first leave home when they start college. After college they should be ab;le to get a job. Unless it is necessary at that stage to move home to save for a deposit for a mortgage for a house you should not be moving home. In other words when you start college you are in essence moving out of home. So most teenagers move out of home at 18. When you leabe to go to college you really have to stand on your two feet and become more independent anyway.

I left my parents home when I was eighteen. I think that anytime before you turn twenty one would be a good age.

i personally do beleive that teenegers never leave home and even the youth.

18 is the standard age but there where some to purse acting, singing or anything to make a quick buck.
