why do I enjoy overwhelming myself

I am a work at home mom with two small kids. I have am an independant contractor for 4 companies right now, I take care of the my kids during the day and help out at my son's school, yet I still continue to take other things on, then I sit back and wonder why I get so stressed out sometimes. I just dont know how to quit getting myself overwhelmed though

You need to figure it out now, if possible. Do you need the money from being an IC? It is great to help out at school, I believe your kids get a better education and they will be better treated in the long run, so I personally would not give that up. Does it help to write it down and chart out how much time things reallly take? Good luck, and whatever you do, do not short yourself of time with your kids.
