I will be driving to Guthrie to see my brother this week. Kind of an extended Christmas for me. Guthrie is a town that has very heavy tourist trade. There are something like 26 antique stores. They have lots of victorian homes and buildings. They outline most of the buildings with white lights at Christmas. Is there something special about a town you visit at the holidays?

So what do your family members do there? My brother is the pastor of the Free Methodist Church. He also works at a crisis center in OKC

Dang, this is four months old. But, it came up, so here I am. Sounds like this town is up my ally to visit. Must be so nice and quante. I don't go any where for the holidays. In Florida, when I worked for Disney, we went to Epcot all the time for the holidays. There is no place like that on this earth.

We don't really have holidays now as I am taking care of family but I love driving , we go lots of drives ,One of my favourites is Loch Lomond , it is really beautiful there , In the summer especially there is such beautiful scenery , But to be honest Gerty we are surrounded by lovely scenery , and we live on a battlefield and the town of Stirling is very historical , lots of old relics ( not me and hubby lol 0
