Got a call from my daughter telling me she pierced her nose and has pierced her ear four times. Plus wants to pierce her private part. I am not quite sure how to take that? Help full response from anyone. Is that safe??

Wow, ouch! Thats pretty scary! I really dont know if its safe. I would say it is if she plans on taking care of it like she is instucted too. Its very important to do exactly what the person doing the piercing tells her to do. (aftercare) And its important to make sure everything is sterile at the shop she is going too. Good luck to her!

Riah50 Ouch indeed. And yes looked in all of it. Where finally a friend of mine spoke to her about it. Rather than continually hearing it from dad. She is going to leave it alone . Many thanks for dropping a line and hope to chat some more :)

well i can tell you from experience..they are risk of infection as they piercings heal..but my daughter has her nose,eyebrow(2x) libet,tongue(3x) and a few other places i wont mention pierced..kids these days think its quite the thing to stick holes through their body..and if you say no ..most likely will do it anyway and NOT tell you if shes having problems and that could be more dangerous you know? so i say look up some info online about what areas shes doing ..and talk to her about it..better safe knowing then her doing and not knowing and something happening

any piercing can be easily infected especially the genetalia, my friend pierced hers and kept it clean to the best that she could, but it ermmm how would you say, got caught in her boyfriends hair down below. and it was quite painful for her, my advice is read up about it online or speak to a specialist that deals with genetalia piercing before saying anything to her.

any piercing causes damage to the tissue though its bound to heal with time, however you can only talk to her the rest is srictly up to her pending on how old she is though.

This has become a fad these days and the children are not going to listen to the advices of parents. So ignore and just advice the side effects and keep quiet.

Ouch! That sounds very painful! Any piercings on the body should be done in the most hygienic conditions, and extra care must be taken to let the wounds heal to prevent infections. It's best if it can be done by a doctor, though I'm not sure if they would do piercings on the private parts.
