I am very artsy and can whip-up almost anything, but I only have about 2 days to make a very nice 50th birthday gift. I have a few ideas, but I would like to hear some other suggestions.

Well this is what I did for my grandpa's 70th bday..I made a huge b'day card..wrote some poetry for him..and stuck a couple of his pics..few when he was very young (in his teens) and a few of his current pics. The poem I wrote for him was about his achievements, how he has grown over the years and how inspiring he has been to each of us in the family. Everybody in the family signed it and he was very happy!:)

I think a nice collage of pictures from 50 years ago, in a pretty picture frame would be nice. Or pictures from family and freinds showing that persons life over the last 50 years. You could really fancy it up. Does it sound corny? I'm not that good at this stuff, but I read your post and that popped to mind.
