Well a females prime for having babies is between 20 and 30 giving you a good 10 year window. I think those are the best time. Finish high school first maybe even college or some college get yourself a little adult life before having a baby because once you have a baby those adult fun years are over till they are older. I have my first at 22, second at 23 almost 24, then at 26. I would love to have another but hubby says no more.

i think between the ages of 25 and 30 is good. 35 is kinda old, but my aunt had a baby at 40. the younger you have kids the more fun you can still have once they move out. although it could work just the same if you wait longer. my deal is i dont want to be a old mom. so i wouldnt wait that long. But to each his own

By responding to this question you make me to think that I become older again with one more year in 2007.I cant say if is a good age or a bad age but some are calling this age a good one.At this age you are able usually to think more mature than others which are younger, but also you can be in the crisis of this certain age.You have to have a good family and maybe children. As for me at this age I have a family ,a driven license which usually you can afford to have at the age of 18 here in Romania,I have a job but I do not have any children yet.I would like to have and I think is the best age to be already in marriage life. Some says that the best age to be married is around 29 years old but this depends from country to country. If you can guess what age I have it is very good and if not I will tell you that I am 37 and I am thankful to God for what I have and done till this age!May God bless you all even if you are old ,young ,married or not married! So if you can calculate the year of my born you will see that I was born in 1970!I suppose that around 30 years is good to have children

I don't know if it's really a matter of age as much as a matter of maturity and financial security. If you don't have either, you shouldn't be having children.

I would say 26-28 is an ideal age for women and within 32-34 for men. After that there could be many complications, so better sooner than later:)

:) I don't know. This has always been a dillema for me. It's like parents tell you to live your life and don't have children just after you graduated and have a stable lifestyle. Why do I reckon about this? I've been tempted to have children at this age :)) (17) but then again I wouldn't like my disco nights and clubbing to transform into changing diapers and feeding the baby nights. Although is quite tempting and I`ll tell you why: I wouldn't be that much of a difference of age between me and offsprings. No more generation gap! I know this because my mom had me when she was 19:) We kinda think the same way, that's why can't trick her so easily. But it would be weird to go clubbing with my kid. As for having children when you're a grown-up (30-35) that's too much. My aunt had a baby last year. She turns 40 this year. Think of the time she will spend with her kid : like 20-30 years! It's too soon to lose your parents at that age, isn't? In terms of kids, do we want to have a child-child relationship or a mature-child one?
