Suppose I won the lottery, how would you convince me to give you some?

Let's say I won roughly 36 million in cash playing the lottery and I was looking to spread it around a bit. How would you convince me to give you some and how much?

I would just say could ya pass a little this way? enough to buy a house for a mom and 3 kids who are struggling bad and having a real hard time in life... wow that would be a blessing if someone was to do something like that... I just watched a tv program lastnight where Oprah was helping these children with school items and shoes.. very touching.

Well, in reality I probably wouldn't, but for the sake of argument... I'd explain how I broke my back four years ago in a permenantly crippling accident, and how it's kept me from being able to work a steady job. I had to give up my job - I was a zoo keeper - and my livelihood - I trained horses. Since then, I've been scraping by as a freelance writer. I can barely afford to pay for my thirteen prescriptions, even with my health insurance. I can't remember the last time I left my house to do something that wasn't going to the doctor's or hospital or grocery shopping. I still owe money on a loan I had to take out for my wheelchair - health insurance doesn't cover it. I'm mooching an unsecured wireless connection to get online and submit my articles and post here for a few extra bucks. A few hundred dollars would make all the difference in the world to me. Just to cover another month of prescriptions, finish off my loan and maybe let me go out to a movies or dinner or something. Wow, written out like that, my life sounds really d*mn pathetic. :/

Sounds like you've been dealt your share, that's for sure. Does your family help you any?

Yeah, I figure I've got plenty of good stuff coming to me in the future! My family helps as much as they can, and I'm forever thankful to them for it. They cover my room and board for me.

I would tell you that you were lieing, and let you convince me that you were telling me the truth by giving me a couple hundred thousand.

That is a lot of money. I would probably not ask for money directly since it would be strange to just receive a ton of money like that, but I would ask you to buy me things like a new Ford Mustang, a nice boat, and a waterfront house. That is all I would ask for because I wouldn't need anything else, and I could work a nice job and have a comfortable life without worrying about buying a house.

That is a lot of money. First I would say to give some to charity, to help out those less fortunate. Then I would ask for some for myself to start up my business. There is a business for sale not too far from me that I would like to purchase and live out my dream. I would need to build a house for my family and would need enough money to expand this business. I would need just over $500,000 to accomplish my dream.
