2Mbps connection is coming to india at a cheap rate .. wat is your view on it?

Minister announced that bsnl is gonna make the minimum speed 2Mbps at the same rate of 256kbps. I dont think besides the promises you will be getting 2Mbps. I am pretty damn sure that if the donwload speed becomes 2Mbps they will cap the upload speed to 256kbps. In that case having such a large bandwidth wont improve sectors like gaming, bittorrent and p2p

I'm trying to understand what you're saying.
Are you trying to say that the upload and download speeds will be the same? I'm not sure that it's even possible to do such a thing.
If India has the technology to do this, then I think it would be a good thing. Just be wary of their definition of "cheap".

upload speed is capped at a very low speed right now .. a true broadband connection bust have a good bandwidth for both upload and download streams .. thats what i was saying
