Who watches British shows on PBS?!!!

I love watching British shows on PBS. They show them once a week on Staturdays and then they'll do reruns on Sundays as well. My favorite shows are Keeping Up Appearances, Last of Summer Wine, Are You Being Serve? They're pretty good shows, I wish they'd show more shows. It seems like they're collections of the shows is small.

Well, if that isn't your cup of a tea then don't worry about it. I just like their humor and I think they're something for some shows and movies. Other's aren't funny at all or not worth watching. So, you're not really missing out on anything.

Hi! I also love British shows on PBS and BBC America. I love Are you Being Served?, Keeping up Appearances, and Bargain Hunt (and Benny Hill LOL). Have you seen Waiting for God? It's hilarious! It's my new favorite. :-)

I don't think I ever heard of Waiting for God, I would like to see it sometimes if it is showing around here.

I do not watch any British shows. What time on saturdays do they have these shows on? I may have to take a look at these shows. What types of shows are they that are being shown on this channel other than being British? Are they comedies, romances, action or other type of film? Thank you for sharing this information.

They're comedies type of shows. They're shown at 9-10:30 PM my time, we're pacfic time. So, I think it's 8/9 EST if I'm correct for other time zones. They show alot of educational things on PBS, you never heard of PBS before?!! I thought it's a well known channel, it's a local channel after all.

I love "Keeping up Appearances" and "Are you being served." I wish they were on more often. I never miss them, as they are so funny.

Glad to hear you like the old British comedy shows. I am originally from the UK and now live in Australia. I miss the old British comedy, especially some of the ones that are or were not shown in other countries.Here in Aussie we do get some of the old British comedy shows but too few for my liking (and yeh I am Bias) LOL.

Im surprise I havent heard about it because my youngest watches pbs alot.Maybe i will check it out on saturdays or on the sundays.

You seem to like the old ones the best. They were a lot more upbeat than most our soaps nowadays. One of the ladies in are you being served just had a big exit story in Eastenders, the show she has been in for 20 years. All our shows concentrate on sensational story lines instead of real life, gets a bit tedious after a while.

Oh, I am soooo glad I am not the only one. I find them sooo funny. I love all of the above shows, and more...I just can't seem to remember them. There is this one soap that is on Sundays I think that some people I know watch. I have wathed it a couple of times and I have to say for a soap it is very good, better than the ones you see during the day.

I watch them on BBC America, I love Extras, The Office and Hex. I use to love Eastenders
