in many ways i think this is what a lot of us have been doing but please please only reply to one of mine if you find it interesting enough i would rather have no replies at all than one word answers. If however you do find something you want to reply to, feel free

I think that might be a good idea, as long as the spammers do not hit you hard. This is also how I think having friends work. I try to respond daily to one from each friend, if they have any new ones. Some of my friends are very active, some post like once in two weeks. I do usually look at the profile and pick another discussion to respond to if I like one when I meet someone new. Thanks for the idea.

Ya I found that with adding friends, it doesnt necessarily mean that they will respond to your discussions. I have a few that do, but not all. So now, I just reply to those who reply to mine. I go through their postings, pick a few and respond. That usually intrigues that person to reply to mine again, if that makes any sense!!

Nice idea although it might backfire, people still responde strangely sometimes and have crappy discussions with no meaning =)
I try to atleast check in on my friends and whenever I get a good response to one of mine i check their profile out and might even respond to their discussions =)
