She thinks the stall is a phone booth

One of my coworkerd often takes her cell phone into the ladies room to make personal calls. The first time I heard her chatting away in the next stall, she was complaining about her bikini wax, and it was kind of amusing. But now that she uses her phone in there nearly every day, I think it's really annoying, and so do other people at work. How can we get this woman to make her calls elsewhere?

Make sure you make loud sounds in the bathroom that indicate you are there, either gas, other bodily functions or yelling out "damn, you really had to crap in there didn't you, smells like it's been in there for days". Anything to make it obvious to the other person that she's in the bathroom. Another tamer method would be just keep flushing the toilet over and over.

LOL! I wish you guys had been there to give me advice the last 10,000 times that one of my colleagues decided to "use the facilities" in the middle of our business call. You see, we are both self-employed and work from home offices. Somehow, this person doesn't seem to realize that I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING when they use the bathroom. I am too embarrassed to say anything (I mean, what am I going to say? Would you like me to hang up so you can pee in private?) The toilet never flushes, presumably, so I won't know what's going on. People don't realize, when they are on a phone or cell phone, how much of the background noise is perfectly clear to the person on the other end of the call!

Here's what you do. You and the
other workers who find her habit
annoying, go into the bathroom
when she's on the phone and make
as much noise as is reasonably
possible. Flush a toilet several
times, turn the water on high,
leave it on. Make noise with the
paper towel rack and stall doors.
Bang your heels or shuffle your
shoes while you walk.
Noises really echo in the bathroom.

I would pretend that you are talking on your own cell phone and make her think that you are talking about the person in the next stall who is letting the world know that her hoochie is on fire from her bikini wax!

Play as if she is talking to you and start talking back!
Anytime she makes a statement, comment on it. Or if she asks a question, answer her. But make sure it appears as if you are sitting on the toilet! LOL
Then, when all else fails, use the fart machine! LOL

Has anyone just flat out told her that the entire office now knows the details of her bikini was? Of course she may be the type that does not care. Maybe the person on the other end would care, though. I am all for the noise making, and think that everyone in the whole office should, in sequence, go in and make sure the one on the other end KNOWS that this is a toilet. Does she really need to go to the bathroom, or is it just her way of cutting out on work? Maybe the boss should know, too. This is an old discussion, I wish I knew what actually happened.

I'm surprised that no one's told her straight out not to make her calls in the stall. Do you want me to come over and sort her out? ;)
