I think black roses are so pretty i have seen then at my local florist.. I think that you could probably ask your florist if you can have them ordered.. Or maybe you should call 1800flowers maybe they could help you.. Have you searched online for them.. I know that they are actually black roses and not Dark Red.. the roses i saw were black and they told me that they are actuall black roses.. and there is a book that my grandmother use to order from i remember seeing Black rose bushes in there but she never ordered them cause she didn't like them.. I wish i knew what magazine.. Well Good luck finding your black roses..

I would go to your local florist and ask for Black Ice, Black Prince or Black Jade roses...they arent truly black but a deep red in colour (truly black roses DONT exist)..Tuscany roses are apparently one of the darkest roses but they are also whats called "antique" roses so I dont knwo how much luck you'll have finding those...Black Magic rose isnt black either but is a pretty dark red..though still noticably red in colour unfortunately LOL....As far as dying flowers goes i know that you can but have no idea how to do it...again though, a florist would be able to help you with that I'm sure

As far as I know, black roses are actually very dark red or very dark purple that appears to be black. One example is the "Black Magic" rose. Are you interested in silk or feather black roses or did you want real? Here is an example of a site that sells the artificial ones: http://www.sendblackroses.com/ Otherwise, I think the only other way is to have dried roses dyed black or other roses sprayed black. Hope this helps! :)

black rose - black rose flower
In short - you can't, because there is no such thing. A true blue rose has been the "holy grail" of rose breeders for hundreds of years, however roses simply do not have the genes to produce a blue colour. You may have seen photos of a "blue" rose on the Internet - these are forgeries. We may see a genetically modified rose in years to come (Suntory in Japan is working on this) but as of this date there have been no breakthroughs. The roses with "Blue" in their names are wishful thinking - they are mostly a pale lavender colour. Similarly for black roses, there are very dark reds, and dark purples, and some red varieties have petals that burn to black in the sun, but there are no true blacks.

Do you mean dyed black--try your local florist. If you mean a dark dark red that is almost black, my favorite rose seller would be Jackson and Perkins. They sell Quality products with a good guarrantee, and I think if anyone would have one like that, they would be your source.
