Sleeping more than 12 hours per day is good for Health or not...

Unless you have an illness that requires more sleep, the average adult only needs 7-8 hours of sleep. Now I know it takes some who require more, and some less to make an average. If I had a friend who consistently slept that much I would be asking if that friend was ill, or maybe depressed. Mostly it is my opinion that sleeping that much is not healthy.
