You've all seen the movies .. where they steal millions of dollars from the bank ... they put it all into a few sports bag sized carriers and dash out of the bank .. running with their swag held in one hand ... But it would probably be impossible to do that ... although a US one dolar bill only weighs 0.03 of an ounce ... US$1,000,000 would weigh a staggering 2040lbs or so .. which is over a ton .. Given that most banks would only have an assortment of bills mainly of lower denominations those bank robbers would have to be mighty strong to pick up even a hundred thousand dollars ...
