need car advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the heater in my car is working on and off, and it is COLD outside!! One day it was only blowing out cold air, then later it blew out hot air out of the blue!! This is weird, my car is 2001 model!! Any ideas anyone? (Yes I know i should take to mechanic, but getting others opinions is good too!!)

Get your anti-freeze level and the strenght of it checked. Should cost less than a hun.

oh, never thought about checking my antifreeze. Thanks for that!! (I think I need a man around to remind me of all these things!!)

Check your coolant maybe because I find if my car runs out of it, it blows cold air instead of hot.

Better safe than sorry, take it in to a mechanic. If it's a serious problem, it's better to find it right away than to be stuck without a car in the winter.
