How did you pick 3? Are you sure you'll be done then? I thought I wanted 2, my husband in jest, says he wants 12. We just don't know!! Now that I have 2 I'm trying to decide if I really want to do this again... I have a 2 yr old, (terrible twos!!) maybe that's why it's so hard to decide!! LOL

I don't think I have a magic number. I always said I wanted 3. We just had #3 2 weeks ago & the thought of never having another baby saddens me. The dr. asked if I wanted my tubes tied & I said no. I am not sure that we are done having kids at this point.

You have just voiced my thoughts!! I'm happy with our family, but I get sad thinking I will never hold my own baby in the middle of the night again... I love every part of motherhood and it's hard to think I'm done with the baby part... I always said with my 2nd, if I have to have a C-section I want my tubes tied... thinking that would be a sign that I needed to be done. I don't have easy pregnancies, or deliveries (just easy babies!)but that sign didn't come... so now I have to decide for myself... lol

I always thought I wanted to have a couple of kids. I love children and have always felt that I would have made a great Mom, but the older I get, the less I am convinced that I'm meant to have any of my own. I still wish that I had a little girl, but if it's meant to be, I guess it will happen one day. I always also thought that if I never had any of my own, I would eventually adopt or become a foster parent, but that hasn't come to pass either. So who knows?

You are never too old to be a good mom!! I'm 25 and still look up to my mom!! When the time is right you might become one.

I personally do not have a certain number in my mind. I have one son at this moment. And one on the way. I love the idea of a great big happy family. But if it stops with these two then I am fine with that too, and accept it a God's Will for me. I do not think you can really plan it in advance, you never know what is decreed for you and what is going to happen. So I just think like this, when it comes it comes, and if it doesn't it doesn't. Quite simple really.

So do you not use any type of birth control? I get pregnant as soon as I stop taking birth control. I was told that it would take 18 months after I got off of Depo to get pregnant, we were pregnant within one month. So I can't really just say, if it happens, it happens. Because if I get off b.c. it WILL happen.

Two would be ok with me, actually I have one (4 year old boy) and he is already a miracle for me because I have asthma and I had a heart condition when I was a kid... if I would have more than one would be another blessing...

WOW I asked the same question yesterday. I have two and that seems perfect. What happens when you have 3 and it is just you and your husband? Who gets the 3rd one and doesn't it seem that one child is always left out.

Me? I don't want any kids. Yes, you heard me right, I never want any kids. Why? Well, I have many reasons. So, zero would have to be the magic number for me. :P

Well ... I figure it would take prolly two to make a good sandwich. So I'll say two. Kidding!! I have a 13 year old daughter. That's quite enough, thanks.

I think one teenager is more than enough!
