I think Chris Daughtry was hands down the best contestant on last season. I did like Taylor Hicks as well, but I didn't think that he had the over all talent that Chris did. I was APPALLED when he was voted off.

I agree with you. I was pulling for him and Taylor Hicks for the final two and was very disappointed when Katherine McPhee stayed instead of Chris! Both in the bottom two, and she was voted for. Grrrr! But it's probably all for the best, as it wasn't too long of a wait 'til we were graced with his first album!

There is no question that Chris Daughtry had the most talent last season. He has outsold everyone from last season. The Daughtry Album is great with a nice mix of songs.
I don't think the right person will win any of the future American Idol shows, as it has become a matter of how many times can you dial for the person you want to continue seeing perform and not on talent. I think its just a way to get people to hear you a few times, which helps you get a record deal.

Chris Daughtry is my favorite Idol so far through all the years! He was a heck of a rocker! Isn't it cool how this year on Idol they have his song- "Home" playing when people are getting voted off-- Last year it was "Bad day".. I think it's great of Idol to play his song-- giving him recognition!
I love his first cd!
Daughtry! He is the best Idol!

Okay I have to admit, I was pulling for he and Taylor Hicks. I do feel he should have went farther that Katherine McPhee, but it's history now. The simple question to ask is who is on the top of the music charts currently.
Taylor Hicks first CD has been a huge disappointment for me! But Daughtry made up for that!!!!

Two hands raised way up!!!!! I do, I do, I do.
He has been the best American Idol contestant to date. I was able to see him live two weeks ago and let me tell you, if you ever get a chance to see him don't pass it up. He is great!!

I honestly believed that Chris was going to win American Idol 5. I got so angry when they voted him off. I just saw on a reality t.v. program, that the producers felt he didn't appeal to famillies. They are saying that's why he got voted off the show. I don't agree.

I think Chris has an amazing voice and am so glad they ended Idol with him and his band tonight. I wish he would've won season five, but he has had great success either way :)

Chris Daughtry is my favorite contestant from any of the idol shows. I think he has the most talent and he should have won. He's playing on Idol right now! He rocks! He's such a good singer. I love his voice!!
