Converting photos to simple illustrations to embroider

I have searched the web foran image making facility which will make simple line drawings from photos Anyone help

photoshop has a filter findedge and many tricks for converting photo to illustrations your discussion is 2year old reply me i will tell you how to do.

I know there are a lot of graphics program that will convert photos into line illustrations. I think I did that on one of the Microsoft Picture It Express products. I can't remember, but I know I've done that. I also think Gimp has plug ins for that. Perhaps one of the Adobe Photoshop or CS products can help. But, yes, it can be done.
