VA long term care benefits

I got some scuttle butt on long term care for Vets that could not afford it.
Anyone have any information

Vince, it depends on exactly what you are asking, and what the scuttle butt is. Like everyone else, vets over 65 are eligible for Medicaid if all of their resources are esxhausted. If you cannot find out what you need to know from the VA or from local long term care facilities, I will see what I can find out.

I know that if you served your time you can get medical through VA. It could be free depending on your income. You don't have to retire anymore to receive medical benefits.It is only for the person who served.The will not cover the spouse.So, you can contact your VA office and get the papers for it.You can go down to your nearest VA hospital and talk to them.
