Pity me because I'm from Cleveland?

What is it? Is Cleveland the place to go when you want to be good AFTER you leave the town? Look at what we can learn from history. How many coaches, players ect have played for Cleveland, and then left and went on to do great things? I'm a diehard Cleveland Browns fan, but I'm taking a lot of flack for it! So do you pity me because I'm from Cleveland? Do you think a Cleveland team will ever make it "best" for a year?

Oh my- I'm sorry... I cannot feel for you- I'm a Steelers fan so we are rivals! I dont think the Browns will ever make it best for the year.: ( that would mean they would have to beat us.. But its all in good fun. I love a fan who sticks with their team no matter what! Keep it up.

Yes.. Them steelers.. Going from superbowl win to.. what place are they in this year? (*snickers-sorry had to do it!) My sil is die hard steelers fan.. and we made a bunch of fun bets when the two teams played this year.. Of course I lost both times.. I had to buy her a large mt.dew and a king sized reeses cup packed in ice for the first game. And the second game I had to buy her a new pair of steelers Pj bottoms (For good measure, I threw in a brand new yellow "terrible towel" too)

Thats too funny- Good fun rivals are great! Most of my family and friends are Bills fans- We're pretty close in location to them. You are right we went from superbowl champs to well.... Hey at least we knocked the Bungles out of playoff hopes! Of course I mean Bengals. : ) Good luck next year--

I suppose I can show a little pity. Any team that can go through more centers than they have wins in a season needs all the help they can get. They put up a fight in the first game of the season, but the Browns just haven't been able to compete in years. Until some serious changes are made, I really no longer consider this much of a rivalry. It's like beating up the handicapped.

Thanks for the pity! I know I deserve just a little bit.. hee hee.. Maybe one day.. Just one day, They'll be pretty good. I'm hoping the cavs or the Indians do something.. It's like a training cap, as I said. They go on to do great things AFTER they leave cleveland.

What really stinks is that the "Browns" won the championship AFTER Modell moved the team out of the North Coast. If he hadn't moved them, the Browns would probably have been Super Bowl champs! Just another frustration, after those heartbreaking playoff losses to the Broncos...

The Browns front office are starting to wake up. They are getting offensive linemen and have picked up the running back from the dirty birds, Baltimore. Jamal Lewis. Look out the Browns are going to be a contender this year. No I don't pity you We will take pride when we get to the big show in Febuary of 2008
