Carpeted home yaa good idea. Very helpful during winter seasons but in rainy really bad.

i think they are great but should be done with caution , like what is the need of the carpet where people will come and go so frequently , because it will get dirty so much and so frequently , that either you will be tired looking at it dirty or you will be tired getting it cleaned frequently carpets are ideal for drawing rooms , living rooms , bedrooms , study and computer rooms

Carpet isn't practical when you have children or pets.

I think they are great in cold climates, esp. where dust is not a problem, because with a lot of dust, cleaning is a problem. Not at all good for allergies. In less dusty climes and in cold climates, they may even be a necessity.
