MyLot.com: Can someone explain me how rate works?

Ratings is shown beside your name in brackets. It increases every time you respond to a discussion. Users can "rate" your discussions with a +/- or report you as abuse if you are violating myLot rules. The more + ratings you get the better your earnings. You can rate discussions as well as responses. Hope this helped you. Good day!

I think that postive rates can increase our earnings and negative decrease but i'm not sure beacause in mylot is very difficult to know how much you earn for something...lool
