People everywhere have different traditions that they observe when celebrating the Christmas season. Some put a candle in the window; others hang mistletoe and holly around the house. Many people sing carols, put up nativity scenes, and decorate Christmas trees. What is your Christmas customs and traditions?

Here in the Philippines, we put up a plastic Christmas tree as soon as the ber months start, usually September... when December comes, kids of all ages start to sing carols for money from house to house...we give gifts to each other and our godchildren come on Christmas day for their presents and some money and we also feed them our holiday feast which is usually composed of ham, queso de bola (round red cheese), fruit salad (it has young coconut strips, condensed milk and all purpose cream), some have spaghetti or pancit (Filipino noodle)... Catholics usually go to church on Christmas eve or Christmas day. On Christmas day, we have the Philippine Filmfest where only Filipino movies are shown and a lot of people flock the movie houses so they are packed.
