Did you ever hear that statement, do you agree, and on whom do you want revenge? Three step question, should have three parts to every answer.
I do not know where I first heard this statement, but I agree. If you have been wronged or misjudged, you should try to live well, rather than stewing and fussing and concentrating on revenge. I would like to have revenge on all the people who have ripped me off in the name of business pretending all the while that they were presenting me with real opportunities. I want revenge on the credit card companies for their usury. I think I am beginning to find my way out.

Thank you so much for your excellent advice, because everyday I add somebody else to my 'hit list'. I suppose it is only natural that we get angry with people who have wronged us, but I think now that it would be better to forget about them and not allow them the satisfaction of upsetting us. My daughter advised me to do the same when I was talking to her earlier to-day. Great topic!

Thanks *smile* this response makes me feel really good. Turning loose of anger helps us live healthier lives.

I want revenge but I always remember "Vengeance is mine saith the Lord". So far he has been doing pretty well of with my rotten money grubbing daughter. I'm not sure what He's doing with the credit card company that would not give me a break with RMGD (described previously) who charged $17,000. Maybe I will see that particular credit card company disappeared from the face of the earth.

I think right now the credit card companies always win, but that there are some places where the laws are beginning to prohibit their extravagant costs.

No I have never heard this statement before no I do not necessarily agree to it either it all depends. I do agree with the part where you are saying that you should try to live well, and in other words dwelling on it, but no matter how we try to change others they will always try to do this to us, if we let them.

So the key is not to let people make us into their victims, I guess. It is often a hard lesson to learn, and relearn.

This post is so true. If you live stewing and in anger it hurts you and it does not get you revenge. Its very true , making the most out of your life and seeking joy and being happy....that works....good topic and good point to keep in mind..

I think you understood how I take this saying. I want to live well, and happily and not allow circumstances or people to steal my joy. That defeats all who are against me, and in that way I have my revenge. Thanks for responding. I look forward to other responses as well.
