Does having to go through hundreds of joke threads bug you?

Have you ever looked for some nice, interesting discussion to read and respond to, but you're looking through page after page of jokes? I know you can just search through your specifics, like by interest and such, but when going through the "hot topics" or new discussions..and you're only finding jokes... Does that ever bother you, even a little bit?
I enjoy a good laugh, but it's quite annoying when I'm looking through 30 pages full of jokes that aren't even funny, when I'm trying to look for something more interesting, or serious.

I get aggravated, too. It's why I've started just looking at discussions by interest and discussions my friends have made. There's not much you can say about a joke, unless there's some kind of pre-existing discussion around it. And I've yet to see an example of that.
If I wanted jokes, I'd go to a joke site.

It's nice to see someone who totally gets the picture.
I don't go to pages that have anything to do with jokes. I do agree.. if I wanted a joke, I'd go to a joke site. It's not so bad that they're there, it's just that there's 3746837867463 of them and I've found few that have tickled me.

I know what you mean. Have you noticed the losers who are pasting jokes in as responses to discussions? I've reported several from this thread alone. I enjoy a good joke, and there have been some really funny ones here. But people should post jokes as the exception, not the rule. Maybe they could send jokes to their friends by private message if they want to share numerous jokes.

Not exactly, but it is somewhat annoying when I want to repond to discussions and I go through hundreds of discussions to make a comment and only find good questions like this one that I can answer. To tell you the truth, I don't see a lot of jokes here.

No it doesn't. Unless you are looking under jokes as an interest, I have never seen pages of jokes under general discussions, but sporadically sprinkled throughout.

That is beooming a Big issue here, and to think they are Earning money from these? You know all of these are copied from somewhere, and not an Original idea, but I guess some people just need to share jokes on here? I lately have to resort to going thru and replying to stuff that interests me, or what my Friends have started, and stay off of the front page a lot of the times now.

it is getting bad with joke everywere,but i dosent bother me till they post a joke while answering a discussion,an the joke dont relate to the discussion.

I am new to this place and I have not seen many joke threads around this place. I am just browsing and i see threads about please give me some advice on this or help me with this.
