ye that's a nice word, has deep meanings also but mainly it's meanings differ when referred to diff. things like beautiful flower or paining or girl, etc.

We say beautiful when we like and appreciate a person or a thing. If there is nothing beautiful in this world, i wonder if we could be happy. Beautiful is a counterpart of saying nice! Have you tried saying beautiful but you're not happy? Beautiful for me means so delightful and very lovely.

nice points..
but i don't know why, i prefer the word Cute than Beautiful.. or Lovely..
but those words are often used to describe something with not as much "beauty" as when you use the Beautiful words..
so they've lost a little bit their fascinating meanings..

My favourite hobby is drawing and painting, so to me beauty is very very important. I love art, I love statues, pictures, bulidings.... My favourite art periods are "Classicism" (the ancient works) and "Neoclassicism" (David, Canova, Mengs, Ingres, etc.) and so you can understand how beauty can be important to me.
