Andrea Yates - Thoughts?

Andrea Yates who claimed she was suffereing from scizophrenia when she killed all 5 of her sons in 1994 is in a mental hospital instead of prison. What do you think should happen to her? And what is your opinion on her reasons for killing her beautiful sons?

Slap on the wrist? Hardly. This is a walk in the park for her.
She belongs in jail where they put all murderers. I don't understand why she was so special.

Cause she was a damn good actress... And she used her smarts to get what she wanted and she did.. Pathetic that people stand next to her and say she is so sick.. Like I said, if she was so sick why didnt she kill herself as well.. Instead she made a sane choice to kill her kids and not herself..Amazing how our justice system works....

She should be locked up for life. There is no excuse not to be unless someone is way out of touch with reality (walking about drooling all day long, maybe...) - which she is not. I agree that she is just a darn good actress and had a decent lawyer. Such is our criminal justice system.
The case smacks of a more recent one here in Colorado as well. Are you aware of the women who killed her two children by drowning them in a bathtub ? The prosecuters decided to not even try to charge her with murder. She is in the state hospital in Pueblo now. Another very good actress and pathological liar.
