About quitting myLot?
I know I'm not the only one. I can't be.
I have changed my payment request amount and when I've cashed out, I will probably leave.
The staff here seem to be invisible, and not really willing to deal with the issues here.
I'm thinking it was such a mistake to come here.
Greed has gotten the best of most people here(spammers mostly), and quite frankly, I'm sick of it.
I've got a list of 17 spammers, and one person with 2 accounts, and it's clearly obvious that it's the same person. Same country, same age, same avatar.
I say "I quit".
Anyone else?

As I explained in another similar discussion I started, I am not willing to leave. myLot can be improved if enough people inform the admins of how dissatisfied their are with the current situation.
I'm not one to throw in the towel and give up the fight so easily.

Yeah I understand and I read your topic. I even replied to it.
But just in the time between responding to your topic and posting mine, I've seen so much spam that you could fill an entire room with spam sandwiches. It's really that bad here.

I agree, why just walk away. Be willing to give some time for changes to happen. I happen to enjoy mylot. If the spammers bother you so much -- report them.

This IS the INTERNET!! You're going to get spammers and people that ruin a good thing for other people. Don't waste your energy by getting upset or pissed off. Just leave if you want to. The internet is not the only thing in the world. If you're only trying to make some money, I'm sure this isn't going to pay the bills! I'm on quite a few boards, some paying some not. There will always be "bad eggs", but you just have to laugh it off.

uhmm, i not quitting, i will just visit mylot from time to time....like you have said the environment here becomes dull and still has alot of spammers and that makes me more bored in here. but i still have hope that something spicey will come in this forum and bring some colors.
anyway, if you think you are one of the members who brings good discussion then i hope you dont go and stay.. cause this community needs members that can contribute and be more productive.

I agree dont quit as its a very genuine site and i feel recently staff of my lot has really worked hard to get rid of the spammers. I keep giving ! ratings to these and report them to mylot staff. It helps them to act more quickly. I feel if we all sincere one will start quitting this site will really go down. What I do is I post on the firt page of the spammer a comment that he is wrong and report him. that way I hope others might see the warning and wont waste there time. You can also do that.

I try to post good discussions, but I've really given up on that. Seems that there are way too many topics up there and most of them would be something similar to what I'd want to say.
So I won't go and start a new topic that's already being discussed.

Don't quit. For every spammer we have, there are at least five of us who make good posts. I don't like that rude chick who posted about Jokes as topics being a waste of time. I just ignore the witch an go along my way as if I were Dorothy making my way to Oz

I don't think I am going to quit, just yet, I have noticed that there are alot of random people putting completly random information on here. Kind of annoying when you are asking a serious question and you get a responce about how "god loves you" and it pertains to NOTHING!

I just joined yesterday and I have noticed that some of the topics are a little ridiculous. I am trying to make good of it by keep MY discussions something people can discuss. I am sorry that you feel you need to leave. Maybe if you keep hounding the staff, they will finally listen. Id be more than happy to help you out..!!

Just hang out a little while and you'll really see what I mean. And I'm not the only one who feels this way.
We have a special police force here made up of myLot members who are concerned about the amount of spamming on this site.
It just seems like our reports fall on deaf ears and the staff don't really care.
They seem to go after the good people. I don't know why they do it.
I've been hounding for ages(well, for the amount of time I've been here), and I've seen very little result come out of it.

I agreee with your opinion about the spammers. I belong to another program like mylot, but the fomat is more of a standard forum format. It pays better than mylot and I don't see the spamming problems. Some of the topics are quite silly, but I don't know how to get around that. If you PM me, I will send you the link. There are crappy people everywhere who break the rules, I don't let them run me off, though.

I'm not quitting nor have I ever wanted to. I am not here for the owners or the spammers. I am here for myself and they do not bother me. I don't care what other people do I only care about what I do and how I conduct myself. Leave them be they will get theirs in due time.

Hey you have to do what you have to do.Im staying I enjoy my friends here and thats what it is all about.Im not going to let a couple of spammers push me out. I simply go around them. If you feel that strongly about it then you should move on. I know you were complaining on other site that you belong to and how crapy mylot was and you were thinking of quiting, so do it dont just talk about it. I think mylot is a great site and will continue to be one. If you have no faith in mylot then no you shouldnt stay and keep putting this site down. Good Luck
