Since Sabah is just right beside here, I might be able to visit your place and stay for a few days in Kota Kinabalu and stroll along Gaya Street. I found out that Mount Kinabalu which is the highest mountain in Southeast Asia at 4,095 meters (13,435 feet) is much taller than the Philippines' highest Mount Apo at 2,954 meters (9,691 feet) with Baguio at 1,500 meters above sea level.

Concepcion - Concepcion,Iloilo Philippines
I would recommend that you try to visit Concepcion, Iloilo. It has alot of islands to visit and each island is unique. You can go island hopping and enjoy the fresh fishest at the same time. Many of the island are yet not explored by many people. There are some island which you can cross with just bare foot if its lowtide. And when you go swimming you can even see fishes underwater when snorkeling and starfishes as well. White sand beaches, seafoods, mountain hiking and enjoy the panoramic view of the island are things that you could see in Concepcion Island and it was very cheap because fishes and accomodation are not that expensive.

Your introduction of the place is very enticing, not many even in Iloilo know of this place, being overshadowed by the popularity of Boracay and it's not even in the Philippine tourist map.

A medical group who went there a few years ago said that sanitation in India is very poor. Another who went there said that India has poor garbage collection, large garbage piles were seen in various places which has become landmarks to these visiting tourists. Can anyone from India deny or confirm this, is this the general picture in the whole country, or has it improved in recent years?

Boracay and the beaches in Palawan particularly in El Nido and Coron are some of the famous beaches featured in many international travel magazines. Sure would hope to visit Palawan soon to know for myself which really is the best one.
