Beats me. I don't post much but I always thought you got a point when someone responded to your thread. You're saying three and someone else on here says that you get $.01 for ten responses. I'm not sure how it works but it looks like you don't get much for posting a discussion and I think Mylot should raise the payout. Of course I think Mylot should raise ALL the payouts. LOL

This is what I responded to the person before you. As this is an old discussion since then I now know I get 1 point added after my discussion receives 2 responses. On a couple of occasions I have actually noticed my point total increase by 1 point after only one response. As to how much you actually earn for a discussion that is a well guarded myLot secret. The have a special algorithm to calculate earnings judging by quality, keystrokes (length of topic) etc.

I have heard so many different things that I am really unsure what to believe. MyLot has not revealed how they award points to us so your guess is as good as mine. I have also heard that you get paid more for higher word counts in discussions. Not sure of that either.

Hmmmm yes I have heard many different opinions on this as well...but keep on posting and as long as we are paid something...all is good! So I guess it is good if e are never at a loss for words, lol!

Some of my discussions don't seem to have earned me anything at all. The majority of them have had less than 5 responses, so I don't think there is much of a market for what I want to say. I do know that I posted one just before I went on holiday, and when I came back I had three responses, and my earnings hadn't increased at all.
