I live in Winnipg, and on Dec 31st, we got 27 cm of snow! After the roads were cleared my boyfriend and i had to go out to help a friend in his restaraunt, we were in a car accident, and as a result i have whiplash. OMG it hurts! Does anyone have any ideas on how to heal faster, or on how to make it feel better?

Yes, I have whiplash. It took several years for me to accept the pain. Start with accepting the pain and live with it. It is very frustrating but as years go on you will be friends with the pain. Long walks to distract your mind from the pain, warm bath, massage and meditation has helped me a lot. How old are you?

I got a whiplash 13 years ago with a waterpolo incident. I got hit by an elbow on my forehead and got a whiplash that way. Whiplash is unfortunately not something that will go away overnight. It can heal after a couple of weeks, a couple of months, years or maybe it will never go away. When I got mine I got send to a physiotherapist and got stretching exercises to do. I know that these days doctors are against it, but a cervical collar really helps me when the pain is bad (yes, even after 13 years it is still bothering me). It is just so nice when I can give my neck a rest. I really recommend a cervical collar (a soft one). Just make sure if you decide to get one, to keep moving your neck every now and then so it won't get stiff. I wish you all the best and hope you recover soon!
