Energy healing fact or fiction?

I am curious to see what people think of the concept of energy healing, not limited to Reiki, Quantum touch, Chi gung etc. My own practice consists of Quantum Touch (practitioner) and Reiki (Level 2 Practitioner) which I get to perform on a daily basis with good results. Some of my fellow practitioners have seen miraculous results in their treatments. I have not seen any of these personally. There are many books on the subject some of which are straight forward and some which appear to contradict themselves. The one main point that all can agree on is that there is a Universal Life Force Energy that flows through all of us and if we tap into this source of energy we can help heal others including ourselves of almost any ailment. Quantum Physicists have proved the existence of this energy field - see "What the Bleep do we know" - yet it does not seem to have made it's way to mainstream quite yet.
Let me know what you all think of this, opinions, information and beliefs.

Why there is a question when one got result after healing with Reiki and Quantam Touch?
There is a need to believe and to accept after experiencing the thing! And to get the cooperation of our own mind! But we mostly come acrooss with few odd things or individuals or arguments or some event that affect our self based experience also to deny our own results!? Why?
We are just unknowingly recall the doubt element! just accept our logical mind's argument of scientific methods and results and then superstitions also joined hands with all those!
Healing with Reiki and Quantam Touch or Pranic Healing Energy and other methods also are just a fact, related with our life and practitioners are doing and getting results! This is also a laboratory of life! And we are getting results direct from life then it is correct method! What ever based on experiences and feelings or even on intuition have only one proof! And that is the result, nothing else!
I think this is enough as an apropriate answer!

I recently finished reading 'Quantum Touch: The Power To Heal' - and I've been giving sessions to my boyfriend and son. Please tell me about how you got started as a practitioner. I'm also learning about Reiki. I am 100% convinced that energy healing works and is the hope for the future of health and well-being.
