I was always told its not good for your hair, so I don't do it..I added highlights once and they were ok..but I can't do my whole head..

It really depends on the types you use. There are some that can completely fry your hair, there are others that are relatively gentle. Highlighting solutions are actually much worse for your hair.

Yes i do it every month, i use a herbal dye of natural shade.. after dyeing i wash using a good quality herbal shampoo, dyeing at home is not only economical, but saves your time too

Yea, see my hair in the picture, that's been dyed. I'm naturally a blonde, but I always looked better with darker hair lol... so I keep it dyed :)

No, i don't dye my full hair but i prefer hair highlight. because it looks good and easier then hair coloring. i also suggest it to you then if you have any queries about hair highlighting and hair coloring go with it:http://www.hairhighlights.org

I have dyed my hair before when i've been in a mood for a change..I have real dark hair and wanted to add a little red highlights to it...I bought a do at home kit...That was not a good idea LOL...it didnt come out all that great! I have had it done by a professional too, and although more costly, I loved the way it came out.. The worst thing about dyeing your hair is that SMELL...ughhh, it's pretty bad

Yup I do, religiously in fact. When I was younger, I had golden blonde hair, a beautiful shade that I wish to god I had now. But as I got older, the color faded to this dreadful mousy brown shade. Not being satisfied with something I can change, I started experimenting. I've dyed my hair pretty much every color under the rainbow, but I have one pattern I like to stick to. Yes, pattern, not color. I couldn't be bothered to be normal and have one color like everyone else, lol. My hair is what we call Calico .. it's an array of blondes, browns and reds in all different shades. This is not an easy process by any means, lol .. but worth the effort. It's unique, looks good on me apparently and I absolutely love it. It takes about 3 different colors of dye and 2 highlight kits to achieve, so it's no small feat, lol.
