Are you clever? - or - are you heading for dementia?
A few weeks ago a myLotter gave us a fun mental arithmetic test. Try your hand at this one.
Answer them QUICKLY.
1. You are participating in a race.
You overtake the person running second.
What position are you in now?
2. If you overtake the last person, then you are ???
3. In your HEAD (no paper & pencil) -
Take 1000 and add 40 to it.
Now add another 1000 and then add 30.
Add another 1000. Now add 20.
Now add another 1000. Now add 10.
What is the total?
4. Mary's father has five daughters:
1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono.
What is the name of the fourth daughter?
5. A mute person goes into a shop to buy a toothbrush.
By imitating the action of brushing his teeth, he
is able to purchase it.
Next, a blind man comes in and wants a pair of
sunglasses. How can he indicate what he wants?
6. For the REALLY clever ones:
Two men are hiking in the forests, far from civilisation. In a small clearing, they come across a cabin. Inside the cabin they discover two dead bodies.
That is enough information for you to tell me exactly HOW they died. (to help, there were no weapons, no poisons)

ok, gonna try again...this has been really bugging me and have been thinking about it way too hard!!!
Was it the cabin of an airplane and they were the pilots?

Oh I see. I'm glad I found this answer because it was bugging me, I already knew the others, I've seen a few of them before. This one really got me though, but then, I wouldn't have thought of that because I wouldn't have called it a cabin. I think that would be what I'd call a cockpit. But then of course the problem wouldn't work.

The bear killed them because there was no food in the forest, because the polution killed the vegetation, because the factory was producing poisons for rats, because the city has been invaded by rats, because they felt the smell of cheese from the cheese factory, because there was a food festival in about two days... Now... who's fult is it?

the clearing was caused by a small explosion killing the 2 occupents of the cabin..
