on what basis do u rate a person?

I never rate a person. I only judge people on how they interact and treat other people. I hate those people who judge people on the basis of their looks, religion and even social status. I like to judge people only when I can say that I know them good enough to back up my judgement.

I know what you mean. I too know people you tag others even before knowing them infact there's a bunch of people who tag others even when they haven't seen them. This is just sad. These people who judge/tag others infact feel insecure themselves so they talk about others to keep themselves away from people's eyes and don't get judged themselves.

It is important to know abt the person's character bcoz frnds n relatives of one will define hw dat person wud be.
But, I never judge a person.
If I want to rate him/her, I'll analyse his/her relatives and frnds and the communication skills. I ll try to analyse how much real s/he is.

i judge him by talkin to him for atleast one hour on different hot topics n then judge him n i hav not gone wrong yet

First impression is a thing which makes me judge a person. If that is good, then i proceed with friendship with that person. Looks doesn't matter at all.
