I would go somewhere, anywhere, just to relax and be waited on. I have four kids and it would be like heaven to me. The bad thing is I would probably miss them so bad that the vacation wouldn't be fully enjoyed. lol

if i could be given a chance to have a child free week! 2 days will be spent on relaxing and pampering myself. 3 days of shopping, movies and clubbing with friends. 2 days of rest before going back to your old self as a mom! i think every mom deserve a week off once every four months? it's not that easy to be a mom! cause you'll be responsible for everything inside your home! making it a better place for your family!

that sounds like a good idea. I think moms do deserve time off definently, but rarely do we take it. I don't know if I would even want a whole week off, but every once in awhile, my hubby will take the kids and I'll go to a book store, get a coffee, sit in a comfy chair and read through a book or two.

Yes, I know how you feel. I don't think I could handle a whole week without my boys.. Maybe ONE night, but a whole week would kill me!

It would be hard because I would obviously miss my children. I would sleep in late, read, take long baths. It would all depend on whether I was at home or out some place else.

If I was child free for one week I think for the most part all i would try to do is get everything organized. I would really do a good clean up of my daughters room and be able to enjoy it for more than 2 hours considering whenever I clean up she does nothing but put all the items back on the floor.

I would sit at the computer all day, posting on mylot with no interuptions!! (Sadly, that probably IS the truth!) I would catch up on the house work, and finish off some remodeling projects. I would hang out with my friends, go out for dinner, go to the movies, stay up all night, watch TV, play my music up loud... Almost sounds like being a teenager again!

I've only been without my children for 1 day since they were born. Yes, that's right, just 1 day, and that was when my husband and I helped our best friend move out of town. Big fun, huh?!?!?!? I don't know what I would do without my kids for a whole week. I would love to go to Cancun, but I'm sure after a day or two I'd being going crazy without them and want to go home, lol!

I'd go nuts! After a day, I'm wondering what to do with myself. If I ever get to be child free for that long it will be a trip for just me and my husband but that won't happen until the kids are a lot older.

I'd be lost! I'd cry! I'd mope! I'd think I was past it. I'd think I'm getting too old. I'd be depressed (and I'm never depressed). I can't imagine life without children. OK so my children left home years ago and we've been Derby & Joan for many years now, but children are still a large part of my life. If I don't see them in person, I'm talking to them on the phone, and even if I'm not actually talking to them, I'm writing something for them or preparing camps or something for them. Children are one of the joys of life. I just can't imagine life (or even one week) without them!

Yes, your right.. i couldn't imagine leaving my kids for that long.. in fact when i had my youngest, i was in the hospital only one night because i didn't want to be away from my 2 year old anymore than i had to. i've never been without them for more than one night, and I'd like to keep it that way right now!

Day one I would sleep. And sleep. And sleep Day two I would declutter their toys without them around to throw a fit and try to organize the house some Day three I would go run all the errands that I avoid because taking them with me makes it take twice as long Day four I would miss them terribly, be bored, and want them back, lol.
