Do you get money for starting discussions?

You get paid for both, more if you get lots of responses, and if you upload pics into your discussions. referrals, as well, and you get a percentage of what they earn if they're active. Make you discussions interesting so that you get loads of replies, and detailed, so you get quality pay for them. Good luck... I see you're fairly new to Mylot, so welcome. :-)

You don't automatically get a point by your name for starting a discussion. Points equal money, as far as I understand it. But! As soon as one person replies to your topic, you will receive a point. So the only way that you will not get paid for starting a new topic is if no one replies. I am pretty certain that you won't get any money if you don't get at least one reply in your topic. I think you do get paid for starting discussions..it has to be the way everyone starts 10-15 discussions at the same time..I'm not too sure either though

starting discussions helps you to keep going.

yes you earn for the discussions which you have started and when ever some one gives a quality reply to your discussion u earn for it.
