wanting to hear things you have tried that have been atypical? For ex, using a food product as a moisturizer, conditioner, etc. Ha this cheaper/less traditional idea *really* worked?

I tried the mayo thing {ala Julia Roberts}. It really really really clung to my hair strands though, and so I never used it again.

I don't like to eat Mayo so I can't imagine washing with it. The egg thing is funny though. I hate cold water showers so there's no way I'd try it.

Crushed tomatoes for cleaning your face, whitening your armpits, elbows and knees. You rub it and wait ten minutes before rinsing. You can also use fresh pineapple instead of tomato. Virgin coconut oil for your hair, rub some in and massage your hair and scalp, let sit for 5 minutes then shampoo hair. It will make your hair stronger and shinier.

I'd never heard of the tomatoes idea - thanks :) Does it rinse off well? :)
