Computer making us lazy ? !!!

it depends ...on ur utilization..i don't think computer makes person lazy....if u utilize ur PC always...

You are absoultely right friend. Computers have made every human lazy and nowadays computers have become our part of life. But computers have lots of advantages also. We can know everything happening around the world by the touch of finger. But we must limit ourself to the usage of computers. Rgith from cinema tickets to air tickets, we have started booking in computer and this had made everyone lacy!!! As you said, next generation would have a lesson to teach students to use computer for adding numbers rather than doing it manually!!!!

Fortunately I belong to the generation of people who have seen it all. When I was well into my College days Computer started ruling the world. But the best part is that by then I have extensively used the normal ways to calculate sans Calculator, Computer. It is more like a habit, when you grow up with the habit the natural tendancy will be to protect the habit. So it is more like how one is growing up. I think parents can help the childrens to keep using their memory instead of asking for Computer or calculator or PDA or even Mobiles - lol, to do that. I was told by my teachers not to even use digital watches because that will make me lazy and take off the natural ability of calculating using brain. I followed that and it helped me.

I depends upon a person who uses the computer. I guess, computer just extends our mind, in all aspects. It makes work easier for us, thats why people tend to feel that makes us lazier.

nowadays,using of computers is common.many people use computers for playing,chatting,try to earn money noline as they are lazy & couldn't go outside & work for 10hrs,but they sit on computers for a long time chatting,making money etc.i think the next generations become too lazy as u said they cannot count on their selves.the invention of these computers changed a lot of human mind.

If you are only a user of a computer then indeed that computer will makes you lazy. But if you are a programmer or designer, than computer will makes your mind to work harder.

Of course, the computer makes lazy.Everything is done by computer so always people use for every purposes. Really fews later people will be individualizied.

I dont think computer makes us lazy. It's not the computer that work for us. It's we who work on it. Why depend on the computer to remind you of something? It's you who makes yourself lazy on that process. Because people want instant things to happen for them. We depended on something unnaturally. But it depends on how addicted you are to computers.

No, i dont agree, computers are created to make our job easier. We do a lot of work everyday, we need to remember a lot of things, if theres no computer, who do you think would remind to do it or do that. Computer helps us alot, lazy people would hesitate to use computer; encode data, wait for pc to boot and so on.... coz they are lazy...

you have your opinion and i respect that! but for me computers are not making us lazy instead it makes us make our jobs easier if there are no computers in this world how can we make things like this...talking of laziness it is on the person's personality if he's/she' lazy not!we must be thankful to computers but you must be responsible enough to use computer and how to deal with it...i hope you respect my opinion...

I fully agree with you. If we will take support of advanced machine for every simple thing then we will not allow our Brain to work , so its function would be suboptimal and the Brain cells would soon die permanently. Even in old days there are simple calculations available in mathematics. I think we should use of Brains otherwise it would be very difficult for the next generation.

that is really true, with computers, and internet combined, everything is made really easy, that we can do anything even if we just remained in front of our PC.

I'am not agree with you because computer just a tool, if the simple counting we can use our brain, just not to depend on computer, or maybe we are to busy so we choose the easy way, but not of us doing that thing. As a student I prefer using my memory than using computer because, it will spend more time

I think not all we do in computer will make us lazy. You know, if you study or work as computer programming, computer engineer or others things that have connection with computer, computer will make you more diligent. For computer programmer, they have to work in computer, practice in computer. The more you practice in computer, you can be more clever and smart. Because you need to practice to be smart. So not all we do in computer make us lazy.

computers help us in many ways like e-mailin,chattin,acounts.....they have made our life beter but they have a dis advantage and that is they make us do litle work.so i don't think yhey make us lazy
