VGA stands for Video graphics Array. This is a graphics display for PCs. In text mode the resolution is 720 by 400 and in graphics mode around 640 by 480. So, what are your needs. And how old of a system do you have? VGA USES ANALOG AS OPPOSSED TO DIGITAL AND A MONITOR DESIGNED FOR OLDER VGA WON'T BEABLE TO USE THE SAME

Video Graphics Adapter. I think the latest Radeon-based VGAs are the best as of the moment. =)
