Whats the Threadcount you prefer for your bedding?

I was watching a health and Hygiene program on TV and got to know that using right bedspread is essential for a good night sleep and changing bedspreads often is hygienic. Experts suggested that using soft cotton bedding with more threadcount (preferably 100% cotton) is good for a healthy sleep and a active day. Please watchout that you don't use polyester based bedspreads and pillow shams as they generate more heat in the body and your body feels tiered the next morning and makes you inactive. I am totally convinced now that I would change my bedspread every week and not fortnightly. To do this I would like to buy more beddding sets and can you please putin your thoughts on whats the threadcount I should be looking at to have a soft and fresh feeling.

Hey that is some really good info.I had no idea the threadcount made any difference. Of course changing the bedspreads frequently is a good habit. I think the higher the thread count the better the quality so if you are planning to buy look for high thread counts. Happy Shopping!:)

Hey Thanks for the response. My latest info is, the minimum thread count you should be looking at is 350. Infact more the threadcount, better the fabric and ofcourse expensive too. Yet to physically shop for some good bedspreads but I am glad that i found a reason to get rid of my current bedspread.

Hmm that's good. Ya the better the threadcount, the more the cost.
