Do you agree with the "no cell phone in school" policy?

first of all we have to know for what purpose schools are not allowing students to bring cell phones to schools... because cell phones are now misused in so many ways... and on that way so many students are spoiled their lifes.. so on that issue i agree with that and cellphones are not needed when you are in schools...

I think they should be allowed. I mean, have you tried looking for a working payphone in NYC???? Its next to impossible.

I do not see what use of technology in the form of a cellphone a student needs inside the class room? Inside a classroom a student's duty is to be attentive to the lecture which doesn't require any technology other than your own mind and brain. Banning inside the campus may be questioned for but I agree with the ban inside the class which is required. If you are a professor/teacher how would you feel if many of your students are talking over phone or writing SMS when your class is going on?

no i do not agree with this policy as i am a staunch bveliever that the cell phones are very essenteial and one can need one at anytime..
