Best Response( Once a month, Once a day)?

I have been upset by the amount of people who do not give a best response. I had originally set mines for once a month i thought it would be easier.
Now i have realised that people must be angry to have to wait and see how there responses are rated. I always give a + rating if i do not receive spam but i was wondering why are so many people not giving best responses and when do you do yours.?

I have been doing a little "housekeeping" catching up on the best response tonight, because I notice a lot of people give best response quicker than I have been. I think I may try to do it once a week, just to keep organized.

I have only given one best response to a specific question which required a specific answer.
My other questions are of a general nature and don't require a specific answer. I have not given them a best answer because there has not been enough answers.
Furthermore... if you give a best answer, it is unlikely that anyone else will continue answering your question.
So I am setting a target. When I get 20 answers or more... I will choose a best answer.
