if you are a christian, do you feel like quiting or changing church. How often have you changed church? DO you feel that you can still be a christian if you do not go to church? I've seen some friends do it. They too lazy to go but still profess the christian faith. What you say about that?

I often don't feel like I belong in church or that is not the path God intended me as an individual. But, I still go frequently. I happen to like the pastor of this one church, he is extremely informative on bible issues and I haven't found anyone whose knowledge is as accurate as his. I believe the church's purpose is to strenghten us as believers and reach out to those who don't believe. But, I also feel that people can do this as any body of believers, not just those who go to a place to worship. The early church often met informally in homes to discuss and debate beliefs. I know there are people that disagree with me and think that you have to go to church to be a Christian. In fact, I've been told so several times. But, I also believe that people who criticize your faith are not speaking with God's voice.

going to Church no more makes you a christian than going to a garage makes you a car !If you dont have a relationship with jesus first why bother!

it may not that they are lazy at all maybee they are not getting spiritualy fed in the church, many are not! After all going to a church no more makes one a christian than going to a garage makes you a car!It is a faith relationship with the saviour that counts! Most of the churches in organised religion to me seem to have taken only what suits them from Jesus works and neglect the rest !this is why I myself am none denominational! Its time we christians got back to worshiping amighty God instead of the Almighty dollar!

I say that only you know the answer to that. I have changed churches many times, and also did not go for a period of times. I do attend now, weekly. God is not locked up in a building. He is around us and inside us. Going to church feeds us His word, so it is important to go to the right church, that He wants us at. There is no perfect one, as they are run by people. There are two ways how to worship God....One is man made rules in a certain faith...do this and do that. The second is by faith alone, a personal walk with Him, and only answering to Him. Please rate this "best response" above my name if you are happy with my answers. And rate all your replys a + if good, - if it was only a one word or no thought reply. ! to turn in a vulgar or paste/copy reply. I noticed you are fairly new, that is why I mention this. I hope I have explained your question well. Blessings, M&M
