Deja Vu... it's as complicated as its words. You're doing something, and then suddenly you realized that in your mind, you had doing that something in your memory. That is deja vu. I didn't know where it comes from - is it considered an Extra Sensory Perception(ESP)? or just a coincidence? If you had experienced the deja vu, you may post below. Just tell your story. One more thing I want to ask you is, do you believe deja vu?

i have experienced this before... i used to experience it often and then it faded out and recently its started to happen again. Im not quite sure what it is and why people get it but it is pretty freaky. Maybe its your mind trying to tell you something or maybe there is some other hidden message behind it that know one has figured out yet. Maybe its just nothing... who knows

Many times, around 1998 to 2004 it was like two or three times a months, right now is not that often, anymore. One theory said that it has something to do with the theory of ´Paralel Universe´. Another theory is that our left eye doesn´t have the exact time to received memory and sending it to our brain, with our right eye. One of our eyes is ´quicker´ than the other eye in terms of sending the memory signals to our brain. So, once the signal is already in our mind, and then the other signal coming again, that the effect make the person experiencing something twice, in the level of mind. But, the ´second theory´ -i think- is not match, with one of my experience: Last time I remember I experienced Deja vu clearly, when the first time I came here in Croatia in 2004. Me, my wife and my mother in law went to one of the cultural center, there was an exhibiton and introductions of some books. We went by tram, and then the rest, we had to walk. My wife and her mom didn´t know where to go to find the place. That specific moment I felt that the event was already happened before, and I was the one who showed them the directions where to find the building. Which is not easy to see from the main (tram) road, and surrounded by some tall buildings. The third theory (i think came from a Prof, from India) that one of a spot in our brain, sometimes ´functioned´ in it´s ´primitive´ way, and so on (i havent finished reading his article yet) I also seeks the answers far back to the deep root of my ancestors (The Buginese)A tribe once mentioned by John Perkins in his Book: ´Psychonavigation´.

I don't have a specific experience in mind now, but more of a combination of feelings that I get all the time that gives me a sense of what's going to happen or that something's coming. I think some of it is just paying attention to your thoughts, dreams and feelings and going with that to trust what you're thinking. I do believe in deja vu. Especially when you meet someone that it feels like you've either known them before or were supposed to meet them

Well we can't understand how deja vu really works. But if we had experienced it, we could call it 'a clue to understand'. Thanks for your opinion !

I've had way too many deja vu experiances to count or to remember one on to post. I believe it's you concious or mind remembering what is written in your chart (a kind of blue print you make on the other side before you come to earth of things you want to do durring life) and that means you are on the right path.

So you're thinking of 'remembered all things you'll get on your life before you're born and almost completely forgotten'? Yeah, that should be considered a reason. Very good thinking.

I totally do believe in Deja Vu. I myself have experienced it ot just onc ebut many times. It can get really unnerving. Sometimes you do something or meet someone and you geta feeling that you ahve already doen this or been here before. Its said that the things you feel you've seen before is because of past lives. But Im thinking its probably a case of the past and future running parallel and them intersecting giving us this feeling. Does that make sense to you?

I'm still confused as the truth about deja vu is unknown... I can't explain it by myself because it's really complicated.. about the past and the future... can we break the ice?

yes, i have. there was this one time that i actually experienced deja vu a couple of times in one location. there was this small storehouse near out house, and everytime i go near the door, i experience deja vu. it's like i have done something before there that keeps surfacing up in my memory. i think there's nothing supernatural or paranormal about deja vu. i actually made a papper about my own theory of why deja vu occurs. it is possible that our brain has computed what will happen considering the factors around us. so if the factors in the environment that are considered by our brain remains constant, then the event that it predicted actually happens; and when it does, we experience deja vu, because our brain has already encountered the event in it's predictive calculation, and is stored in the brain as memory.

I often experience Deja Vu. Well, this is an experience where one gets to get reminded of what happened in the previous life.

I never experienced deja vu before but I read a theory that it can be just an illusion of the brain when you experience something new and the brain stores it as a memory faster than the conscious perception of it, so once you see a place and perceive it in your conscious mind the image that was stored milliseconds before as a memory reappears like something you saw before and because of the very short time that has passed when the memory was stored you can never remember when or where you saw that place and it comes as deja vu.. not sure if this is proven or not but it offers some kind of acceptable explanation.

Woah, great explanation. But I still get interested on this, as the theory had not been proven yet :) Thanks.

I have experienced deja vu a few times. One time, something happened that I had already thought of. I met with my friend at the mall and with another friend and sat talking with each other. Somehow, I felt as if this has happened before. Another time, I went to a new friend's house and when I saw her living room, I could almost swear I've been there before and saw the exact same place. It's so weird, it makes me think perhaps it has to do with reincarnation... that I was there in another lifetime.

Yeps, I experienced this stuff already. There was this time that i was talking with my colleagues, and i was asking to them, like, this already happened, same time, same situation and topic that we were talking about. But i just can't remember when that happen. But it was clear to my mind that it already happened. Deja Vu, eh? :)
