Most people have something that just drives them nuts, what can't you ignore?

I personally have a real problem and even get angry if anyone gets in my personal space. I don't burst out and yell, "What the heck are you doing, get out of my space!!" I will however move. I will get up and step away from the person or ask them politely if they could move just a bit. What the button that sets you off?

I have several things that really get on my nerves. One such thing would be someone blowing their nose when you are in the middle of eating a meal. Also, I can't stand impatient people, ones who expect a task to be completed within five seconds or less.

Hey that's two things. :) The blowing the nose thing I get up and leave the table, after all it's only polite and takes two seconds. I have been a computer instructor for 20 years and have been told that I have more patience that anyone they know. Well if they knew it wasn't always patience but I tried not to let anyone know. They had to learn and I was willing to give them the time they needed to learn it correctly, even if I had to bite my tongue a few times. Thanks for your response.

I can't stand the sound of someone chewing on ice when they are right next to me. It just grates on my nerves. I don't know why. It just does. All that crunching is completely irritating. I guess the ironic part is that sometimes I chew on ice too.

He he, I don't like that, too. One thing that gets me angry is someone using something personal you told them against you. It makes me not want to trust anyone when they do that. Another thing that I've had a hard time ignoring, but have gotten better at dealing with it, is people's stereos or TVs pounding through my walls and floors. Even cars driving on the street can be so loud with their music. Tonight, I think there was a car a block away sitting in a drive-through or something with it's stereo blasting.
