mylot vs myspace

I have been exploring mylot for the past week to see what it has to offer and I have to admit that I am impressed with what I see. I am sure many of you have myspace accounts as well. Which do you like better or do you like them both the same? Tell me some reasons why or why not you like or dislike mylot compared to myspace?
Here are some differences that I like:
1. Mylot discussion is a lot more quality than yahoo answers and the forums on myspace. It seems like on myspace and yahoo answers people are trying to prove their points, make people mad, or post the most shocking questions to see what kind of responce they get. Here at mylot people truley try to answer your questions.
2. The diversity - I like the fact that many times you are in discussions with people from different countries so you get an Idea how people in other countries view things instead of being brainwashed by the media.
3. You get to interact with others through discussion and put your input in on problems people may have. - You deal with people that may have been in your situation before and has very good insite.
4. You get paid for it!
What I like about myspace better
1. You can do more with your profile page.
I think I am going to use both myspace page and mylot page but I will use the myspace more for promotions, music, videos etc.. I am going to use my mylot page to ask questions, try to help others and to have quality conversation. What does everyone else think?

Myspace is much better...the layout is very nice and the interface is very easy, and u can put songs and videos in the profile ;)

I like both. Mylot is like a forum where you get paid for every response you post. Myspace on the other hand is more of a social network site.

I agree! Seems like the more referrals you get here to mylot - the social network can grow as well.

Well, I must say, (and this is a very sexist remark so please forgive me or turn me in to the sexist remarks committee or something - I'm almost 59, but still human) first of all, every time I see your pic I get all melty inside. Now, to answer your question - I don't know anything about myspace - is that not the one for mostly teenagers and younger people? I had a Yahoo 360 account, but didn't like it either. I do like MyLot and am very happy with the workings of it and the friendships/money earning opportunity that I have here ~Donna

I can dig it! I use my 360 account for family. The earth being reborn, - that makes me melty inside as well!

well i think i would agree with you,.but i like mylot than myspace because what can be done with myspace,.can also be done here in mylot,.but the thing is in mylot they gave money, they give commision..but in myspace they earn money us because of the add,.but we dont get anything from them..

I have only a mylot account but I have heard alot about myspace. Good and bad. I gotta say that mylot is enough for me.

Uh well, I don't know why you are trying to compare a social networking site with a pay per post type of site... But um... I prefer myspace since I have several friends and family on the site. It is so much better and it is fun. Mylot is a site I use to make money, that's it...

I can see how both myLot and myspace could be used to meet people.
But I think myLot has a higher quality of people. Not to disrespect myspace at all!
Because I do have an account with myspace and keep in contact with my family and meet up with old friends.
But myLot to me is a way that I get thinking about things. Mylot has exercised my mind and my writing skills. Which, even though I can use my writing skills in myspace blogs, people do not always respond.
Just the other day I have 38 views but only 2 comments left on my blog.
Why would someone go to a person's blog and not leave a comment? It has really been bugging me.
But with myLot, people respond and I get to read more than besides if they agree with me or not. They give more indepth thoughts that I really enjoy reading!
Then when one factors in that I get bored on myspace because it doesn't really have much of a search on dicussions...myLot is designed for discussions. :)
So, I do prefer myLot...but I still have myspace open in another tab at the same time. :)

They are both basically the same. But myspace you can't earn for posting answers and questions for, but mylot you can earn for doing that.

Hi. I dont use myspace and I just joined mylot today. I do like this site and cant wait to be paid. There is alot of good discussions here and most people here are very nice and helpful but I still have alot to learn here as far as earning etc. and what to do and not do.

I like them both! Mylot is more of discussion, blogs, and forums which I think is very helpful. I also like the interaction of people here even though they're not on each others friends list. Myspace I think is more about being pretty or sexy...Like them both!

I don't really view myspace and mylot being in the same category. Myspace is more of a journal/blog space. This consists mostly of a forum. Your profile on here really isn't for socializing, but for keeping up with your posts and what not.

I joined myspace right before I joined here. To me there is no comparision. I may have logged onto myspace 5 times in 2 months and I am here almost daily.

I agree with everything you have said here, but I am partial to Myspace. The only reason for that is because I have so many friends and family on there. Of course I am new on here and still in the process of getting my friends and family on here...

yeah myspace is pretty cool you have to admit but I feel mylot is more of a place to give information and feedback and you get rewarded for it. Its kinda like getting paid in elementary for every A you got on your report card. It promotes discussion
