First Interview Complete...Now For the Second Interview.

The interview I had today went very well. It left me hopeful that I really do have a chance at landing this job. The pay is good, and it has benefits too! When she told me the pay I breathed a sigh of relief as I had thought I would have to grovel for more money.
She told me that there would be a second interview with the manager. The manager will call me this week to schedule the appointment.

Thats really fantastic. Its very difficult to find a job that you like and one that pays well too. Be calm and have confidence when you go in for the 2nd round. YOu made it through the first. BEst of Luck to you

It is always a good sign when they want to do another interview as it tells me that you have impressed them so far and that they are very interested in you still for this position. It sounds very encouraging and hope your second interview goes as well or better than the first interview. Good luck. :-)

There were many positions available, but she offered me the top 2. I chose one that best fit my needs.

A second interview is always a good sign! Keep your attitude positive and go in there KNOWING that you are the BEST person for the job. It's not enough to KNOW it, you also have to SHOW it to the people who are doing the interviewing. Good luck and Goddess Blessings ~Donna

Well done .. I used to find interviews quite boring .. I generally only changed jobs to get more money .. and as I could earn a lot more money doing boring jobs rather than jobs I would have enjoyed, I didn't really care if I got the job or not.
I supposed that helped me because I was never nervous .. and my feelings wee that I was interviewing them rather than them interviewing me .. must have worked as I was rarely turned down for a job.

Oh thats great news. I hope this will work out for you. So you and my husband will be employed again. My husband just got hired this week too. He got fired acouple of weeks ago. So Im wishing you the very best. I know youve been looking for awhile, and it can be somewhat depressing. I hope that is past you know.

Oh, that's wonderful. I hope you get the job. I'm glad you got a good feeling with the first interview. I've had interviews where I just feel dreadful afterwards. One time I was applying for a job in the field I have worked all my life. The interviewer asked some simple questions about human rights. I am a human rights officer at my job... I drew a total blank. My mind totally shut down.. it was a horrible feeling and the more I struggled in my mind the worse it got. I did get the job. Well a second interview is usually a good sign. I wish you the best of luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed, lol.

This woman asked me a couple of off the wall questions that I didn't expect to be asked. I laughed and told her that I was totally unprepared for that particular question, we both laughed. I sighed, paused, and answered.

When she showed me what the average starting pay was I was so relieved. She said that with my experience she would try to get me more!
